5 Ways to Make a Paintball Grenade

We’ll delve into the process here;

Step 1: Form the Tubing

The first thing you need to do when you have everything you need is to start forming the tubing. In order to do that, you need to make a few markings and cuts. Take your sharpie and make 4 lines. The outer lines should be 6 inches apart, and the middle lines should be about 1 inch and 3 inches away from the outer line on the right.

Now, cut the tubing into 6 inches in length. Once that is done, using a white or silver sharpie, identify the lines in the middle of the tube. One of the lines will be a hole, and the other is to put the paint through.

Step 2: Prepare PVC and Pull Pin

To prepare the PVC pipes, you have to cut them. They should be about 3/4 inch each. If you want, you could paint them as well, but remember to sand them down before you add the paint.

Also, use cotter pins and put them into a keyring. This will be your pull pin.

Step 3: Make Hole and Close Ends

Remember the bottom lining you made in the timing? Now you have to close it to make sure the paint stays in. Also, use a hogtie to secure the ends.

Now you have to make a hole in the pipe. All you have to make sure when doing this is not to go all the way through. If you do, then you will have to start again with another tubing.

Step 4: Fill with Paint

Now that the tubing is shut tight, you can pour the paint mixture in through the hole you made earlier. You could use a funnel to make sure none of the paint falls through.

Step 5: Test the Grenades

Before you use the grenades in a real paintball match, try them out at home. As they are handmade, many things could go wrong and injure people around. So it is always better to check beforehand.

Final Words

Making paint grenades might be a little tough if you have never worked with tubings and pipes before. So, it is better to consult someone who knows what they are doing before you give it a go. Plus, you have our guide on how to make a paintball grenade as well!
